- This position is a full time office position, covering business hours from 08:00 - 17:00

**responsibilities**:

- Deal with all clients and visitors in the reception area in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer all incoming telephone calls in a friendly, warm and engaging manner
- Redirect telephone calls appropriately
- Ascertain clients needs and communicate with the hosts on their client’s arrival
- Collect clients from the main reception area
- Arrange for the client to be escorted to the relevant destination
- Offer water/ tea/ coffee to guests
- Provide general information about RMB and FRG should clients request this information
- Deal calmly and appropriately with frustrated clients in the reception area and over the telephone
- Ensure the reception area and all reception meeting rooms are always neat and tidy
- Ensure all meeting crockery is cleaned and packed away
- Arrange courier services and manage RMB drivers
- Communicate with the mailroom regarding incoming and outgoing mail/ deliveries
- Book parking for visitors
- Book meeting rooms
- Arrange catering for meetings when requested
- Print and bind documents when required
- Capture and process accounts for the RMB Cape Town office
- Manage office supplies (stationery, groceries etc) for RMB Cape Town office
- Arrange small internal Cape Town staff gatherings (birthdays, baby showers, retirement events etc).
- Liaise with teams and team secretaries on upcoming events
- Consolidate guest lists in Excel
- Manage guest lists for small internal events
- Prepare event collateral (name tags, menus, banners etc.)
- Computer Skills

- A solid knowledge of basic Excel is very important
