**Responsibilities**:

- Generate creative concepts for meetings, incentives, conferences and events, incorporating them into requests for quotations (RFQs) and briefs.
- Create imaginative and innovative events and incentive itineraries.
- Handle supplier management tasks such as requesting quotes, negotiating rates and building strong relationships.
- Supervise budget management throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to financial reconciliation.
- Provide comprehensive guest relations support, including visa assistance and timely query resolution.
- Coordinate logistics for flights, accommodation and transportation across all projects, leveraging flight management experience where applicable.
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships, ensuring professionalism and effective communication with high-level stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections at proposed destinations and venues to assess suitability.
- Execute projects of varying sizes independently, both in-person and remotely as needed.
- Lead and manage small teams on larger projects to ensure cohesive collaboration and successful outcomes.
- Manage project-related administrative tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to foster effective communication and teamwork.
- Undertake international and local travel as required for the position.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience within the business events or incentives industry.
- Own reliable transportation is mandatory.
- Willingness to work long hours and on some weekends for events.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, tailored for corporate communication.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Professional demeanour and manner.
- Creative and innovative mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive and deliver under pressured deadlines.
- Self-disciplined approach to work.
- Backup power for internet during load shedding and a fibre line required for remote working.
