**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Our client, Vanguard, a secure storage facility offering high-tech storage solutions for high-value products, has a Sales Account Manager opportunity available at their Head office in Boksburg.

The goal of this role is to sell secure storage solutions to potential clients for the Vanguard brand. In addition to sales, the individual will also be responsible for client onboarding and account management.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

**ESSENTIAL**:

- Grade 12 / Matric
- 6+ years’ experience in a similar role (Sales & Customer Acquisition).
- Solution selling experience or previous sales experience in determining client needs and positioning potential solutions.
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.

**ADVANTAGEOUS**:

- Knowledge of lead generation
- Knowledge of customer service.
- Knowledge of the Secure Storage and/or Security industries.

**JOB SPECIFICATION**
- The incumbent will report to the Vanguard Managing Partner.
- Be a trusted advisor and industry consultant to prospects.
- Development and execution of a territory go-to-market plan.
- Generate leads via cold-calling and other contact initiators.
- Build a sufficient pipeline of opportunities to cover the allocated territory target.
- Achieve monthly revenue and unit targets per assigned territory.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, which includes:

- _- Demand generation,_
- _- Presentation,_
- _- Demonstration of Vanguard’s products & services to potential clients,_
- _- Closing the business sale,_
- _- Customer acquisition and onboarding,_
- _- Client service._
- Thorough sales administration, including detailed Activity, Lead, Opportunity and Forecast reporting.
- Provide market, customer and competitive feedback and thought leadership as a marketing tool.
- Post-sign-up customer contact ensuring quality and user satisfaction are delivered.
- Occasional follow-up post-sales to keep customer contact warm and to explore possibilities for further sales.
- Ensure Vanguard client reception areas are kept well-prepared to host walk-in clients.
