KEY ROLE:
This role is responsible for processing, administering and reconciliation of daily bank activity and distribution of bank information to appropriate departments, forecasting availability for the electronic transfer, from banking, of vendor payables/employee payables, statutory and salary payments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily and Weekly:

- Download of bank balances and transactions
- Process bank transaction for daily processing
- Provide accounts receivable
- Clear all payments initiated from banks
- Load and release electronic transfers
- Load and release electronic transfers of vendor/employee payable transactions, standing orders and other payments
- Bank reconciliations of All Bank Accounts
- Prepare and update Cash Flow forecast
- Load electronic transfers for release
- Bank reconciliations of All Bank Accounts
- Monthly:

- Bank reconciliations of all bank accounts
- Pay card reconciliations.
- Reconciliation of Business Credit Cards
- Ensure that all expenses have been cleared on AP.
- Any other tasks as requested by the Finance Manager

Other:

- Ensure adherence to internal controls.
- Liasing with revenue authorities across Africa to transfer funds.
- Issuing and recording of payments for as hoc reimbursements
- Maintain and ensure Bank Mandates correctly reflect the current authorities.
- Prepare and submit documentation for new credit card holders and new bank operators as and when required.
- Identify process deficiencies and suggest any improvement in consultation with Finance Manager
- Any other tasks as requested by the Finance Manager

**Qualifications**
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Formal accounting qualification plus 3 - 5 years’ experience.
- Advance excel skills.
- Exposure to operating in other African countries (outside SA) advantageous.
- Ability to deal with senior management and respond to queries accordingly.
