**RESEARCH ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT**

**ONE (1) YEAR FIXED-TERM CONTRACT**

**GROOTE SCHUUR HOSPITAL, OBSERVATORY, CAPE TOWN (ON-SITE)**

The Desmond Tutu Health Foundation (DTHF) is a registered non-profit organisation focused on the pursuit of excellence in research, treatment, training and prevention of HIV and related infections in Southern Africa.

**Minimum** Requirements**:

- Diploma in Administration
- At least 3 years’ experience in Administration, preferably in a similar role
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in office software, including MS Office Suite
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Advantageous**:

- Familiarity with financial administration and procurement
- 3-4years administration experience in a clinical facility
- Research experience advantageous
- Tertiary qualification in a Health-related field or relevant experience advantageous

**Responsibilities**:

- Office Administration
- Assist the Clinical Trials Unit Manager, Office Manager, and CRS Leads with administrative duties as needed.
- Reception Duties
- Stock Control
- Archiving
- Research Administration:

- Financial Administration: Manage and resolve queries for patient reimbursement systems.
- Assist the Office Manager in managing stationery and clinic supplies, ensuring timely orders.
- Ensure the research facility is well-maintained and stocked.
- Manage the archiving process for each study conducted at the unit, including scanning and organizing participant folders electronically
