Responsible to build brands and to improve Market Share in line to Market Growth.Responsible for product planning, marketing and representative training. This includes product

management throughout the lifecycle of the product and working closely with the Sales andRegulatory Affairs department to deliver viable products into the South African market.

Product Management
- Manage external suppliers and agencies
- Plan conference and cycle meetings
- Plan and attend marketing related functions and events
- Review and recommend all promotional materials
- Develop and oversee electronic and printing marketing
- Identify branding/marketing opportunities
- Research market sectors to determine requirements and development and implementmarketing plans for new products launches and current products
- Propose and manage the marketing budget
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen the products and organizations
- Work in conjunction with the RA Department and BD to identify products for filling andregistration that is in line with company strategy
- Support the field force activities by taking into consideration the marketing strengthsrelative to competitors, selling opportunities, customer’s needs and buying trends

Data Management
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Data analysis utilizing the tools such as IMS & Impact RX as and when required.
- Presentation of data to the management team as and when required.

Training Management
- Product and disease/condition training for representatives
- Acquiring recent journals articles to keep representatives updated on new developments regarding the products they are detailing and/or the disease entities related to their products
- Working with representatives in field periodically to ensure proficiency in both product knowledge and the accompanying sales messages
- Development of tests and assignments to assess representative competency and identify problem areas to be targeted.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Health Science qualification or Commercial Bachelor’s Degree
- B.Sc or relevant Business Degree/Diploma
- Pharmaceutical experience
- Extensive product knowledge (Anti-Infectives, CVS, Allergy, Respiratory, ARV & Pain)

Experience Required
- 3+ years Pharmaceutical/Marketing industry experience
- Must have the ability to interpret, analysis and present Rx and IMS data for support ofbusiness decisions and analyzing market trends/potentials of products.

**Knowledge**:
Analytical, financial, budgeting and forecasting skills would be required

Brand/Product/Commercial Management experience

Insight generation and research knowledge are essential

Line management experience in a marketing environment would be an advantage

Previous sales experience would be beneficial.
