The purpose of this position is to deliver the continuous availability of IT services ensuring that all changes introduced in the live production environments happen in a controlled and coordinated manner.

**Working at NTT**

Change Control
- Diagrams, evaluates, updates and stores all existing processes
- Organizes, coordinates, and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
- Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
- Ensures the continuous availability of IT services by assisting with the coordination and governing requests for less complex changes.
- Ensure that all changes introduced in the live production environments of clients happen in a controlled and coordinated manner, ensuring mínimal disruption of services.
- Follows standardized methods and procedures for efficient handling of all changes.
- Implements the change control strategy, processes, policies, and methods and applies and executes these accordingly.
- Applies principles and disciplines as prescribed by ITIL to the process.
- Communicates team progress as per required timelines
- Performs cost and benefit analyses
- Reviews and reports on the success of changes implemented
- Conduct an analysis of the process of changes implemented
- Reports on metrics that relate to the reporting of the volume of changes, types of changes, and no failures of changes

Request for Changes
- Completes change management lifecycle for changes
- Coordinates the change management process to successful execution
- Receives and processes requests for changes (RFC) on a regular basis
- Ensures requests for changes are classified and prioritized based on importance impact, and complexity
- Evaluates risk and technical impact associated with the change and ensure that the correct technical team resolves or deals with the matter
- Plans, coordinates, and prioritizes changes based on relatedness and priority and uses schedules to track, manage and report on the fulfillment of change requests.

Optimisation and Improvement
- Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities
- Collects data to identify the root cause of problems.
- Measures performance against process requirements
- Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls
- Plans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives
- Creates awareness wrt change management and supports the business on these processes
- Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.

**Knowledge**
- Degree in a Computer Science or Information Technology
- Proven experience in change control and/or release management role in an IT services environment
- Demonstrated experience analyzing processes and recommending improvements
