We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Deputy Director of IT in the vibrant and customer-centric in the field of **(E-Commerce Industry)**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with hotel management to integrate advanced technologies, including property management systems, reservation platforms, and smart room features.
- Implement and optimize technologies that enhance the guest experience and streamline hotel operations.
- Support the implementation of digital guest services, such as mobile check-ins, in-room automation, and personalized experiences.
- Collaborate with guest services teams to ensure a seamless and tech-savvy experience for hotel guests.
- Lead and oversee IT projects specific to the hospitality industry, including the implementation of new reservation systems, CRM platforms, and guest-facing technologies.
- Ensure the successful execution of projects within established timelines and budgets.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing robust cybersecurity measures to protect guest data, financial information, and proprietary hotel technologies.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry-specific standards.
- Collaborate with operational teams, including housekeeping, catering, and event planning, to integrate technology solutions that optimize hotel management.
- Implement systems that facilitate efficient communication and coordination among different hotel departments.
- Assist in evaluating, selecting, and managing technology vendors and service providers catering to the hospitality industry.
- Provide support in the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust IT infrastructure to support hotel operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of systems and networks.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture within the department.
- Support the Director of IT in building and maintaining a high-performing IT team.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT roles within the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with hospitality technologies, including property management systems, reservation platforms, and guest experience tools.
- Previous experience working with renowned hotel chains, resorts, or hospitality brands.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in hospitality technology, including IoT, contactless technologies, and personalized guest experiences.
- Understanding of data security and compliance in the context of the hospitality industry.

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
