Matric Certificate
Diploma / Certificate in Sales/Marketing or equivalent
2-3 years sales experience (preferably in dealing with educational institutions) with a successful track record
Experience in dealing with Government Schools, Private Schools, and Tertiary Institutions
Dynamic, strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Bilingual in both English and Afrikaans
High attention to detail and structured individual by nature
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to create strategic action plans and follow through to completion to support the regional as well as national sales and marketing strategy
Own car with a valid drivers license
**Responsibilities**
Operate as the lead point of contact between Government Schools, Private Schools, and Tertiary Institutions and the company
Identify and develop new business activities/opportunities to increase sales in Government Schools, Private Schools, and Tertiary Institutions not yet penetrated by the company
Introduce new products to current as well as prospective Government Schools, Private Schools, and Tertiary Institutions
Set overall targets for each school, with specific targets for individual products
Conduct training with institution staff on listed lines as well as any new products
Assist with fund raising activities should an institution require the same from the company
Host area specific institution days to introduce the companys latest ranges and educational products
Analyze sales data to identify key areas of opportunity and concerns
Exceeding monthly sales targets
Actively communicating with customers/ institutions
Resolving customer queries
Conducting needs analysis and presenting the institution with a one-stop shop business solution
Managing an effective call cycle
Prospect for potential new institutions and turn this into increased business.
Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area
Institution Activities
Take full advantage of any in-institution branding, activities, and promotions to ensure maximum brand exposure and sales on our lines
