Chief Registry Clerk: Records Management

**Job Purpose**:
The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government has opportunities for two (2) suitably qualified and competent individuals to supervise and provide a registry services. This post is based in Cape Town, CBD.
**Minimum Requirements**: Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification); A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
**Recommendation**: None.
**Competencies**:
Knowledge of the following: Registry duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data, and operate computer; Legislative framework governing the Public Service; storage and retrieval procedures in terms of the working environment; Skills in the following: Proven computer literacy; Planning and organising; Communication (written and verbal).
**Remuneration**:
R 261 372 per annum (Salary Level 7)
Note on remuneration: Employees' service benefits or obligations (13th cheque, medicalassistance,housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms oftheapplicable prescripts or collective agreements.
