Marketing and Communications Manager

**Company**

International interior design and architecture firm that provides a holistic approach to supporting a project throughout its development lifecycle from inception and initial strategy to grand opening and beyond

**Purpose**

Responsible for managing the company's marketing initiatives by using market research and analysis to direct the marketing strategy and planning. Responsibilities also include overseeing, leading, and directing Marketing Campaigns across all the relevant platforms. You will work closely with the Business Development team in support of producing the desired materials to achieve maximum impact and effectives, and work closely with all other departments to receive and offer insights into impactful marketing initiatives.

**Responsibilities**

**Marketing Strategy**
- In collaboration with the CEO, develop the marketing strategy for the outcome, in line with the company’s objectives for new business development.
- Evaluate and realign the marketing strategy, based on market characteristics and changes to industry norms
- Implement the marketing strategies in a goal-oriented method to ensure the desired impact and outcome is achieved
- Analyse and support category and cluster marketing plans to align with brand strategy and archive annual operating plan goals.
- Research and analyse marketing strategies and present on innovation and staying ahead of the competition
- Work closely with the Executive Teams and Heads of Department to offer and receive insights and feedbacks, to ensure the marketing strategy is aligned to department objectives

**Operational**
- Manage the production of marketing materials in support of business development presentations, RFP responses, and other company initiatives.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the company’s visual asset library, as well as ensuring team’s use of the most updated collateral and branding (i.e., decks, signatures)
- Manage day-to-day relationships with PR agency, collaborate with heads of department and the Executive team to respond to press inquiries, and actively explore press opportunities
- Coordinate the awards submissions process and prepare required copy and materials
- Schedule and maintain the calendar for digital media content and all other marketing efforts across the various platforms
- Curate the brand's social media channels and create/post shareable images and videos, manage marketing collaborations, and monitor the effectiveness of these efforts
- Execute website strategies, including updating, editing, and refreshing the website; use strategic tools to drive traffic
- Collect and support the production of digital visual content (i.e., photos, video)
- Prepare long-form content: provide content direction, write copy, or provide guidance to copywriter, edit, and distribute (secure publication or publish to company website)
- Oversee and actively participate in all aspects of company’s participation in industry conferences, trade shows, etc.
- Develop and distribute internal monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports of all marketing efforts; attend team meetings and present marketing news, as required
- Work closely with all departments, and assist in the execution of any special projects and communication assignments

**Content Development**
- Plan, develop and implement marketing efforts in keeping with the brand standards
- Oversee the brand content and ensure consistency, and high levels of standards are maintained
- Write reports, specifications, and creative briefs for publication in the various platforms
- Manage and enhance the company’s brand and reputation.
- Prepare long-form content: provide content direction, write copy, or provide guidance to copywriter, edit, and distribute (secure publication or publish to company website)
- Conceptualize strategic initiatives and implement details of a campaign.
- Effectively manage all service providers to ensure work output is of the highest standards and meets the requirements of the brief provided.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years’ experience in a professional marketing role
- Excellent content writing experience
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Advanced Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
