Senior Sales Manager - Clothing Wholesale Business
Are you a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with a passion for the sales industry? We’re seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive growth in our clothing wholesale division. If you have a proven track record of exceeding targets, this role is tailor-made for you We are looking for a result driven, attention to detail individual to head up our internal and external sales force. You will be required to implement a full ERP program - preferrable Odoo. You will be required to formulate KPI’s for the different sales staff and keep records of their progress. As well as implement sales driven bonusses based on key criteria.
**Responsibilities**:
**Sales Strategy and Planning**:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
Identify market opportunities, target segments, and potential clients.
Set ambitious sales targets and create action plans to achieve them.
**Team Leadership**:
Provide guidance, motivation, and performance feedback to team members.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture.
**Client Relationship Management**:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Understand client needs, address inquiries, and negotiate contracts.
Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
**Sales Operations**:
Monitor sales pipelines, track leads, and manage sales forecasts.
Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Implement effective sales processes and tools.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Revenue Targets: Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
Conversion Rate: Increase conversion rates from leads to closed deals.
Client Acquisition: Expand the customer base through successful prospecting.
Sales Cycle Length: Optimize sales cycle duration.
Customer Retention: Maintain high client satisfaction and minimize churn.
Market Share: Expand our market presence.
Positivity: A great sales manager radiates positivity, creating an encouraging work environment for their team.
Motivator: They inspire and uplift their team, fuelling motivation and driving performance.
Goal-Oriented: Focused on the end goal, they steer efforts toward achieving sales targets.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the clothing or wholesale industry.
Proven success in managing sales teams and exceeding targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in ERP software and sales analytics tools.
Salary Range (South African Rands):
Base Salary: ZAR 350,000 - ZAR 480,000 per annum (commensurate with experience).
Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses ranging from ZAR 20,000 - ZAR 200,000 annually.
