Join our team at Camps Bay Retreat as an Executive Housekeeper and be part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our hotels. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated housekeeping staff and ensure that our guests' rooms and public areas are immaculate and welcoming.

As the Executive Housekeeper, you'll oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, including managing staff, planning and organizing cleaning schedules, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies. You'll work closely with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Your passion for cleanliness and attention to detail will ensure that our guests have a memorable and comfortable stay.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring that rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, ordering as needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to brand standards.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities and prepare reports as required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to train and motivate a team of housekeeping staff.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in housekeeping or a related field is a plus.
