This role is ideally suited to applicants with previous broker's assistant, or brokers' Secretarial experience specifically dealing with investment administration instructions and follow-ups, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience.

Provide administrative support to the Trust Officers (Financial /Investment Advisors) including handling follow-up correspondence with clients, beneficiaries and third party providers.

Liaise with internal departments to ensure that investment and payment instructions are timeously and accurately actioned.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Collating all necessary documents relation to administration of investment instructions, payments and client accounting, preparation and capturing of same on internal systems
- Handling electronic and hard copy filing relating to investment administration; and advisory record keeping as stipulated by FAIS and FICA, and ensuring that all investment and payment instructions are compliant
- Client liaison: attending to and resolving all queries directly with clients, building relationships and understanding their service requirements
- Liaising with internal investment administration and support departments
- Maintaining the Client Management System, and data capture of investment and payment instructions
- Collating all client monthly and quarterly reporting
- Providing general administrative support: typing, filing, scanning and so forth of client correspondence
- Diary management, travel arrangements, ad hoc function co-ordination

**Requirements**:

- 3 - 5 years' previous experience in similar function, with proven track record
- Bookkeeping diploma advantageous
- Unit trust knowledge required, and investment/ life/ offshore knowledge advantageous.
- Computer literacy (intermediate): MS Office Suite and Excel at an intermediate level; Typing speed: 50+ wpm
- Ability to work independently, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, including problem solving and initiative
