**Summary**
- Assist in the facilitation and administration of Company Secretary duties as outlined in the companies act and guided by PFMA regulations
- Provide for the proper recording of minutes in relation to all executive committee and board meetings
- Ensure meetings have quorum and reschedule if required
**Qualifications**
- Relevant degree / Diploma in Law
- Completed or studying towards Chartered governance institute of South Africa (CGISA) qualification
**Experience**
- 4 years’ experience in a Secretariat Environment
**Meeting management**
- Provide for the proper recording of minutes in relation to all executive committee and board meetings
- Ensure the correct registration of Directors
- Assist in recommendation of Directors to the board
- Ensure meetings have quorum and reschedule if required
**Compliance with regulations**
- Adhere to National Treasury compliance dates
- Requesting information for report to the relevant regulatory bodies
**Query referrals**
- Attending to queries in relation to Board and Compliance issues
- Processing queries
- Delivering queries to the appropriate person to resolve
**Ad hoc duties**
Perform any reasonable task as and when required by the Line Manager
