Cps Manager Service Center

-Responsibilities:
Ensures that the parking and traffic operations and services are effectively and efficiently managed.
Inspect at regular intervals all parking areas to ensure optimal use of parking space and clear and adequate signage.
Design and arrange printing of various forms, parking permits and brochures.
Create, maintain and direct various systems (including (ICAM), inclusive of meeting with systems managers to enhance quality of service given.
Effective optimization of parking space in the line with relevant parking policies and regulations
Develop policy guidelines and procedures for systems of control for the CPS service center that will enhance effective, and people centered one-stop service.
Implement procedures, systems and controls to regulate specific work and associated sequences associated with the functionality, by : Investigating complaints about access and parking, in terms of all appeals against parking fines.
Investigate all cases of forged permits and misconduct - including attendance at disciplinary hearing with Legal office, Employee Relations Office.
Develop and enhance partnership with University community regarding safety and security operations and service (e.g. with GEO office etc.)
Manage, supervise and guide staff in the Service Centre to ensure effective and efficient customer services.
Responsible for compiling statistics and extracting reports in respect of crime information management data and reports.
**Requirements**:
- Matric
- A relevant Tertiary qualification NQF 7
- PSIRA registered or law enforcement background.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Preferably 5 to 7 in management position.
- Three to five years’ experience in Parking or Facility Management
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as and when necessary.
-- Ability to react quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
- Ability to enforce legislation and policies tactfully and with respect for the rights of others.
- Ability to communicate effectively, analyse data, prepare records and reports.
- Ability to work well with diverse groups and provide effective leadership.
- Understanding of cultural diversity.
- Experience in the higher education sector is preferred.
