To effectively deliver on all complex tier 2/3 level requests/queries/complaints, manage all bulk and complex transactions/processing and proactively identify process and system issues, conduct root cause analysis and support tier 1 with problem solving and resolution and alignment of data across multiple systems.

**Job Description**:
Key accountabilities

Accountability: Operational delivery- Deliver on all complex tier 2 level requests/queries/complaints and proactively identify improvements across Colleague Support to ensure execution- Proactively identify process and system issues conduct root cause analysis and support tier 1 with problem solving and resolution- Manage all bulk and complex transactions/processing across the People Experience Services- Support Junior Consultants towards driving business objectives and ensuring colleague development.- Support Junior Consultants in the execution of priorities against service level agreements, customer expectations and deliver an effective colleague experience.- Based on training plans agreed with line manager of the area, ensure that planned training is actioned.- Align to Business Continuity standards.- Undertake to resolve all escalated queries form tier 1 services (FPOCR)- Quality Check all documentation/requests received prior to capturing to ensure that it is correct and ensure that missing or incorrect documentation/information is received prior to processing.- Proactively Inform the necessary stakeholders of any deviations that may occur in relation to employee data- Deliver service in terms of agreed Service Levels Agreements to the business units in the Absa Group- Continuously verify quality of own work by ensuring transactions captured on the systems are correct- Ensure that confidentiality is always maintained as salary information is confidential and if leaked, this could cause high implications/ risks for the organization- Deliver on all business aligned projects (bulk uploads and integrations to systems)- Ensure that content of the Colleague Support Knowledge Articles is relevant and up-to-date.

Accountability: Operational Excellence:
- Trouble shooting, root cause analysis, problem solving and process improvements across the People Experience value chain.- Serve as an SME on all related queries and requests or business processes, i.e., Workday and SAP- Resolve all queries as point of contact and ensure that all are escalations are resolved, and timely feedback provided to customers/colleagues using the People Experience platforms- Provide administrative and operations support against standard operating procedures for area of responsibility- Monitor & action daily data discrepancies to ensure correctness of data and alignment between the relevant systems i.e., Workday and SAP- Participate and deliver on business aligned projects and provide guidance i.e., your People Function aligned areas- Ensure that the feedback loop and all related advisory/case management requests and processing is done at regular intervals-based customer requirements.- Continuously review business processes to identify improvements for optimization and ease of use within own area of business responsibility- Proactively identify gaps and discrepancies on data/systems and reports- Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained on all employee related data through channel or case management

Accountability: Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that the all the payroll related reprocessing/documentation is aligned to audit /SOX requirement.- Ensure that all team activities are in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements, and quality standards.- Adhere to all legislation and statutory requirements are adhered to when processing of payroll tasks. i.e. tax calculations and other- Keep abreast of all changes pertaining to payroll matters e.g., Government tax changes, changes in legislation- Ensure all processes, procedures and controls are in place, reviewed and adhered to on an- ongoing basis.- Monitor and ensure that compliance is completed within the prescribed timelines.- Operates within frameworks that are aligned to best practice and Absa’s governance and risk appetite.- Ensure compliance to the ERMF

Accountability: Stakeholder Engagement- Proactively engage with and deliver against stakeholder requirements, expectations, and deviations, including but not limited to:
- People Experience stakeholders (i.e. Colleague Support, Payroll, PF Management Information; Advisory; DPX Functional Leads.)-
