People Operations Coordinator

We're excited to share news about a new job opportunity at a fintech company that operates with remote teams spanning the globe.
The primary responsibility of the People Operations Coordinator is to support diverse People Operations functions to ensure seamless operations, encompassing onboarding/offboarding, record keeping, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, HR systems oversight, employee relations, policy development, and active involvement in enhancing employee experiences through People team projects.
TasksOnboarding and Offboarding:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new joiners, including preparing new starter paperwork. Drafting and issuing of employment contracts for new hires, ensuring all legal and company requirements are met.
Carrying out global background screening and right to work checks, coordinating with managers and IT, and ensuring completion of required documentation/policies.
Assist with offboarding procedures.Record Keeping:
Prepare and submit People Operations reports as necessary. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
Benefits Administration:
Assist in administering employee benefit programs, including health, dental, and retirement plans. Support team members with benefit-related inquiries.
Leave Management:
Manage employee leave requests, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulations
Compliance:
Assist in ensuring People Operations department compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
People Operation Systems Management:
Oversee Bob system, ensuring data integrity, and providing support to employees on bob-related inquiries
People Relations:
Address routine employee inquiries, resolving issues where possible, and escalating more complex matters to senior people team
Policy and Procedure Support:
Assist in the development and maintenance of People department policies and procedures and provide guidance to employees on People Operations-related questions
People Projects:
Participate in People projects and initiatives as needed, collaborating with the wider People team to improve processes and enhance employee experiences
RequirementsWhat it takes to succeed:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred but not required. Possess a minimum of one year of administrative coordination experience, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills. Experience working with drafting contract/paperwork. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in administrative tasks and coordination. Proficiency or familiar with working with HR software and corporate tools. Familiarity with People Operations practices and regulations is a plus . Ability to collaborate across various departments, including Payroll, Finance, Desktop Support, Security, People Team, and Legal.
