Personal Assistant

Purposes of job function: The personal assistant is responsible for performing secretarial work as well as providing senior management with day-to-day administrative support. The Personal Assistant will be responsible for answering phone calls and managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements.
Key Activities:
- Reporting to senior management and performing secretarial and administrative duties.
- Run errands upon request.
- Assist with copying, scanning, and faxing documents.
- Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders
- Assist with travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
- Take accurate and comprehensive notes during meetings.
- Liaising with internal departments
- Managing internal and external correspondence on behalf of senior management
- Typing, formatting, and editing reports, documents, and presentations
- Entering data, maintaining databases, and keeping records
- Coordinate events and speaking engagements.
- Preparing facilities for scheduled events and arranging refreshments, if required
- Ordering office supplies and replacements, as well as managing mail and courierservices.
- Observing best business practices and etiquette
Knowledge:
- Matric
- PA diploma or certification would be considered an advantage.
- Proven work experience as a Personal Assistant
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- MS Office and English proficiency
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- Discretion and confidentiality
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
