Bachelor of Education with Honour’s degree in Foundation Phase
**and/or**
Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8)

**Required fields of Specialisation**

The undergraduate qualification or postgraduate qualification must include a focus on Foundation Phase and/or Early Childhood Teaching with the following majors:
Minimum qualification:
A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour’s degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8) And: The undergraduate qualification or postgraduate qualification must include a focus on Foundation Phase and/or Early Childhood Teaching Areas of work experience School teaching experience in Foundation Phase required. Ideally, lecturing experience at tertiary level.

**AND**:
Minimum qualification:
A minimum of a B.Ed. Honours degree or Another Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8) And: The undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include a module on Performing Arts & Drama.

**Roles and responsibilities**
- Presenting content in a class environment
- Briefing students for assignments and projects
- Marking assessments and providing feedback
- Actively engaging with current trends in teaching and learning strategies within the Rosebank College environment.
- Developing and implementing intervention programmes for at-risk students
