Nc(V) Lecturer

We are a small college in Cape Town offering finance and accounting training. In 2025 we will be offering the National Certificate (Vocation) in Finance, Economics and Accounting to a small cohort of 20 students at Level 2.

We require a part-time lecturer for a group of 20 students at NC(V) level 2 in Finance, Economics and Accounting.

**Your role**

The role includes lesson planning and task preparation, lecturing, organising relevant curricular activities, the development of the assessment instruments, as well as marking and moderation as per DHET standards.

**REQUIREMENTS**

National Teacher’s Qualification and SACE registration

Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Assessor/Moderator qualification will be an added advantage

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R10 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month

Expected hours: 14 - 28 per week

**Experience**:

- NC(V) lecturing: 5 years (required)
- English FAL Level 2: 5 years (preferred)
- Life Skills and Computer Literacy Level 2: 5 years (preferred)
- Maths or Maths Lit L2: 5 years (preferred)
- Applied Accounting L2: 5 years (preferred)
- Financial Management L2: 5 years (preferred)
- Economic Environment L2: 5 years (preferred)
- New Venture Creation L2: 5 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- SACE registration (required)
