**The IIE Varsity College, Cape Town Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer: Accounting (Part-Time) for the following module**:

- Accounting

**Job Purpose**:

- Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**:
**Ideally**:

- Chartered Accountant **OR**:

- Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) **OR**:

- Honours/post-graduate qualification in Financial Accounting

**Alternatively**:

- Honours in one of the Financial Management (CIMA) related fields (e.g. Tax, Accounting,) with Financial Accounting to the third-year level OR NQF level 9 qualification in Financial Accounting.

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements**:

- Lecturing experience in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing or Taxation preferable.
- Completed training contract at a registered firm of Chartered Accountants.
- 3rd level Lecturing experience in 2nd level Financial Accounting.

**Working Conditions**:
