**The IIE Varsity College, Cape Town Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer: Quantitative Techniques (Part-Time) for the following module**:

- Quantitative Techniques

**Job Purpose**:

- Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**:
**Ideal**:

- Honours degree with Statistics/Econometrics to a third-year level

**Alternatively**:

- Honours in one of the Business-related fields (e.g. economics, entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) - with Statistics/ Econometrics to a third-year level
- Bachelor’s degree with Statistics/ Econometrics to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements**:

- Lecturing experience in Statistics/Mathematics
- Work experience as a statistician (e.g. STATSSA)/in a business-related field
- Quantitative research with a strong emphasis on statistics

**Working Conditions**:
