**The IIE Varsity College, Cape Town Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer: Financial Management - (Part Time) for the following module**:

- Financial Management

**Job Purpose**:

- Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**:
**Ideally**:

- Honours in Financial Accounting or Management

**Alternatively**:

- Honours in one of the Business-related fields (e.g. accounting, financial management, economics, entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) - with Accounting or Financial Management to the third-year level
- A bachelor’s degree with Accounting or Financial Management or a similarly related field (e.g. asset management, entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements**:

- Lecturing experience in financial management/ financial accounting/asset management
- Work experience as an accountant, financial advisor or asset manager

**Working Conditions**:
