Senior Procurement Administrator

Our client, a well-established and progressive engineering company, based in Paarl, seeks to employ an efficient, technically minded, organised Packaging and Procurement Admin Coordinator, who meets the following very specific experience.
**Please note this role is suited to a highly organised administrator, who has a solid background in supply chain of equipment, parts and related both locally and internationally. This is NOT a logistics management role, but a support role, requiring strong administration abilities**
**KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION**:
- You will have relevant tertiary qualification as well as 5+ years of experience in procurement and administration - strong admin skills are essential on top of fluency in both English and Afrikaans
- You must have advanced Excel as well as experience managing ERP systems, and you must have a keen eye for detail that will be unwavering under pressure
- You must have experience in purchase orders both foreign and local, opening and closing of works orders on the ERP System, and be able to manage communication and administrative tasks between freight forwarders and suppliers, tracking orders and shipments
- You must be able to report to clients regarding delivery, filing all Service notes/delivery notes/invoices and other paperwork, as well as deal with queries from clients/suppliers/Salespeople and technicians
- You must be able to complete and undertake quotations from freight forwarder and couriers, as well as receive orders from client, and convert quote to orders, manage invoicing, be able to complete and understand warranty return goods process
- You must have experience in dealing with the follow up on payments including quarterly visits to customers, and be relief for switchboard duties
- You must have a valid driver's license, a clear credit and criminal record and your own reliable vehicle.
