Job Title: Payroll Administrator / Officer

Job Purpose: The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely administration of salaries and other remuneration benefits for employees. The role will involve working with the SagePeople 300 Payroll System and will require knowledge of general HR practices and payroll administration.
- Administer salaries and other remuneration benefits for employees
- Work with the SagePeople 300 Payroll System to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Communicate with employees regarding payroll-related queries or issues
- Manage employee self-service (ESS) and InfoSlips

Job Requirements:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with SagePeople 300 Payroll System
- Ideally, at least 5 years of experience in a similar environment
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational required, with an ideal qualification being a relevant tertiary degree in HR or Finance
- Knowledge of general HR practices and payroll administration required, with an ideal knowledge of ESS and InfoSlips
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, planning, organizing, and coordination skills required
- Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook required
- Interpersonal and relationship management skills required
- Clear criminal and credit record is a condition of employment
