Our client in the retail sector is recruiting for a Senior Training Facilitator in the Sandton area of Johannesburg, this role would be responsible for designing, implementing, and facilitating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees within the organization. They play a critical role in ensuring that employees receive effective training to support their professional development and contribute to the achievement of organizational goals. The Senior Training Facilitator will also provide leadership and guidance to other trainers within the training department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop training programs, including curriculum, materials, and resources, tailored to the needs of various departments and job roles.
- Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies to create engaging and interactive training experiences
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and virtually.
- Deliver training content effectively, adapting instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles and audience needs.
- Provide clear explanations, examples, and demonstrations to ensure understanding and retention of training material.
- Coordinate logistics for training activities, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and resource allocation.
- Maintain training records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor training budgets and expenses, and assist in the procurement of training materials and resources.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in education, training and development.
- Proven experience in training and development roles, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering training programs.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training methodologies.
- Experience in retail sector is preferred
