**Job Advert Summary**:
**PURPOSE**:

- To manage and maintain administrative Safety Health Environmental and Sustainability processes, systems and sub systems used.
- To collect, collate, verify, process and report data required for Safety, Health, Environment (including Climate Change and Water) and Sustainability management programmes.
- To coordinate and maintain cross functional systems and processes that articulate abovementioned frameworks and assist with reporting of established and approved Key Performance Indicators.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- N Dip: Environmental Management (Essential/Minimum or)
- N Dip: Safety Management (Essential/Minimum or)
- N Dip: Information Technology (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate Project Management (Recommended/Desirable)
- B Tech (Relevant) (Recommended/Desirable)

**EXPERIENCE**:
3-5 years Relevant experience in data handling and quality assurance systems implementation. Computer literacy in the following: MS Office, SAP, Hyperion (Essential/Minimum) Operational

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum)
- Cert ISO 9001/14001/OHSAS18001 awareness (Recommended/Desirable)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Administration and Document Control**
- Develop implement and maintain database documentation, data standards, procedures and definitions for data dictionary, system back-up and recovery plans
- Coordinate data recovery
- Responsible for system authorisation administration (user administration and permission levels)
- Collects and collates data from various sources, managing the consolidation thereof at a single data capture point
- Ensures systems are utilised effectively by those responsible for data entry and systems processing
- Manage incoming systems issues and ensuring that they are documented

**Administration and Reporting**
- Generates, validates and submits monthly, quarterly and annual management reports, containing Safety Health Environmental (SHE) and Sustainability reporting metrics, in full compliance with stakeholder reporting requirements
- Generates, validates and submits monthly, quarterly, annual management reports and external reports including but not limited to Annual Reporting, Johannesburg Stock Exchange Socially Responsible Investment Index (JSE-SRI), United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Carbon, CDP Water, Climate Change etc.
- Analyse and explain reporting results by internal or external assurance providers
- Track implementation of management actions as identified in assurance findings
- Collate and coordinate all internal and external reporting queries
- Assist with the development of tools, templates, processes and systems and maintain outputs thereof

**Best Practice and Knowledge Management**
- Create a repository of all legal requirements, reporting requirements and peer integrated reports for sustainability, risk and compliance
- Continuously improve internal and external reporting processes cross functionally
- Assist with knowledge management of corporate reporting and legislative requirements

**Business Performance and Operations**
- Implement sustainability, risk and compliance performance indicators and metrics
- Act as support custodian of cross functional processes
- Support internal sustainability communication and education
- Assist with sustainability audit document control and reports
- Maintain, update and ensure correctness of Sustainability systems and databases
- Provide systems expertise to Business Unit's (BUs)
- To act as users' primary contact (1st line) for Sustainability function system issues
- Coordinate on-going support for system software, new user needs and system enhancements
- Escalate needs/issues to systems experts and act as a liaison between user and systems expert
- Ensure integration and interpretation of cross functional processes and information/data
- Ensure effective and timeous systems input and data flow scheduling
- Ensure Quality Assurance of systems and data
- Responsible for site coordination, user training and access control

**Compliance, Governance and Assurance**
- Assist with updating of the Company’s regulatory universe as required from time to time
- Updating of agreed sustainability policies, guidelines and frameworks
- Assist with maintenance of compliance calendar
- Assist in coordination of external and internal compliance reporting
- Establish/implement a repository of all Sustainability compliance and legal requirements
- Assist with monitoring of findings from internal audit and assurance reports

**Project Support**
- Coordinate all sustainability, internal audit, risk and compliance regulatory reporting in line with legal requirements
