**Role Description**
Being people centric in your work will ensure a happy, motivated, well-supported and productive workplace. You will be required to partner with business to advise on and manage policies and procedures related to learning and development, performance management, employee wellness and employee engagement and retention.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Learning and Development**
- Bring the career framework to life to enable the teams to understand their career opportunities within Cognia Law and own their career supported by the career framework
- Maintain, co-ordinate and implement the training curriculum
- Learning and development coordination and administration
- Monitor talent plans, career progress and retention
- Maintaining accurate and accessible records and processed for L&D initiatives, including recording, materials, attendance and evaluation of training
- Establishing systems and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of company training curriculum
- Development of people management skills for line managers and team leaders
- Grow and develop our teams for the future through the career framework and training curriculum
- End-to-end co-ordination and execution of training programs
**Performance Management**
- Manage he performance management life cycle
- Evaluate the success of the implementation of HR programs
- Identified initiatives and supports the implementation of strategies for talent retention and attraction
**Employee Wellness**
- Expand and deliver wellness and mental health programme within the organisation
- Produce and gather educational materials relating to employee wellness
- Foster engagement with the Cognia Team to take part in Wellness initiatives
- Actively find new ways of fostering wellness within our organisation
**Job Requirements**:

- HR Degree or Adult education qualification
- 3-5 years experience within a Learning and Development environment, preferably in the legal sector
- Professional, well-groomed and articulate
- Contactable references
- Preferably working knowledge of HRIS software (eg Scout, BambooHR or other)

- Uses active listening and refined questioning skills to elicit underlying needs and requirements from clients, partners and other stakeholders
- Raises issues with clients and other stakeholders in a proactive, constructive and timely manner
