Insurance Capability Lead

**Lesaka Technologies (Consumer Division) is looking for an Insurance Capability Lead (ISL) to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of insurance-related IT solutions that support our consumer-facing products and services.**
**Position Overview**:
The Insurance Capability Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring our insurance systems are robust, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. This leadership position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and managerial skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** System Management and Maintenance**:
Ensure the day-to-day operations of insurance systems run smoothly, maintaining system reliability, performance, and security while managing upgrades and configurations.
- ** Business and Technical Alignment**:
Act as a liaison between the IT department and business units, translating business requirements into technical specifications to optimize workflows.
- ** Process Optimization and Automation**:
Design, implement, and enhance process flows within insurance systems, developing automation scripts to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- ** Insurance Industry Expertise**:
Maintain a deep understanding of insurance standards and regulations, ensuring compliance with industry requirements and keeping abreast of emerging trends.
- ** Policy Management**:
Oversee policy management within our systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing of policy data while implementing effective workflows.
- ** Data Stewardship**:
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within insurance systems by developing and enforcing data governance policies and monitoring data quality.
- ** Stakeholder Collaboration**:
Work closely with business analysts, developers, and cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and collaboration across departments while providing training and support to users.

Lead and manage projects related to insurance systems, developing project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.

**Qualifications**:
- BCom/BSc/NDip in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
