**Description**:
- My client in the retail services sector is looking for a Finance Clerk to take on various administrative tasks. Your main responsibilities will include keeping financial records, preparing bills and invoices, and delivering high-quality customer service.
- This role is suited to an individual with a keen eye for detail, strong math and financial skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently. You should also be trustworthy and an excellent communicator.
- Your goal will be to ensure the accounting procedures run smoothly.
- You will report directly to the Financial Manager and Chief Executive Officer.**Responsibilities**:
- Process receipts and other documents
- Capturing supplier invoices and prepare monthly reconciliations for payments
- Process receipts and other documents
- Bank reconciliations
- Issuing purchase orders and controlling of stock
- Ensure all documents are properly signed and distributed
- Verify financial and other data
- Monitor financial transactions
- Data capturing and maintain updated records
- Assist with account reconciliations
- Communicate with vendors, customers and colleagues
- Report the status of accounts and discrepancies
- Assist with month-end processes
- Taking stationery orders and distributing to the various sites
- Assisting with reception and general admin duties
- Any other relevant tasks requested by the FM/CEO

Requirements and skills
- Matric & relevant tertiary qualification
- 3 yrs proven experience as a Finance Clerk
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and financial transactions
- Familiarity with financial regulations, i.e. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of MS Office and databases
- Attention to detail
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliability and strong work ethics
- Ability to solve problems and to work under pressure**Category**:
