Job description

The Company Secretary is responsible for supporting and assisting the Executive Leadership team (ELT) with ensuring compliance, governance and regulatory procedures are adhered to in relation to company records.

The individual will also be required to aid the management team in terms of administrative tasks associated with their roles and responsibilities.

**Main Responsibilities and Key Objectives**:

- Ensuring the company is managed in accordance with the UK Companies Act 2006 and the articles of association
- Maintaining statutory company records and registers, including a PSC (Persons of significant control) register
- Making company records and registers available for public inspection at the registered office address
- Notifying Companies House about changes to the company’s registered details
- Taking responsibility for recording essential legal documents
- Through regular quality monitoring ensure agreed standards are met and all regulatory requirements are delivered
- Reporting on changes to the company
- Maintaining actions in association with ongoing Executive Leadership Team requirements
- Promoting effective management of priorities and workflow.
- Managing complex diary pressures and schedules.
- Supporting in meetings with taking minutes and capturing & recording data
- Providing a confidential support role
- Dealing with personal and sensitive correspondence
- Keeping the ELT informed of developments within appropriate timescales.
- Anticipating situations and needs and using initiative to resolve potential and actual problems.
- Organise travel and accommodation, meetings and lunches.
- Prepare reports and plans including compiling information from multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to act without direction and coordinate others.
- Experience in reviewing and advising on company contracts.
**Experience**:
Essential:

- A minimum of at least 5+ Years in house experience as a Company Secretary
- Extensive Diary Management
- Ability to multitask
- Experience booking domestic, international travel and accommodation
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to work on own with mínimal support
- Ability to work UK business hours with flexibility
