Complete accounts to trial balance
- Processing of source documents
- Bank expenses processing and allocations
- Processing of payments on Nedbank business hub.
- Creditor and bank reconciliations
- Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
- Asset register with depreciation journals
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting system, including payments received, expenses incurred, and any other relevant financial activities.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of the general ledger by reconciling accounts and making necessary adjustments.
- Reconcile bank statements with the company's records to ensure consistency and identify any discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts receivable and maintaining accurate records. Liaise with debtors’ team and ensure accounts are in balance.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
- Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and ensure that the company's financial practices comply with local accounting standards and legal requirements.
- Working with different entities within a company and ensuring correct loan account entries.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support overall department goals.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in basic accounting, bookkeeping, and financial administration.
- A working knowledge of Pastel and at least 5 years past bookkeeping experience.
- Competent in Excel, understanding tables and basic mathematical formulae.
- Logical thought and methodical work processes, attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure
- An even temperament with ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.
