Night Auditor/receptionist

- **Responsibilities**:_

**Front Desk Operations**:

- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Answer phone calls and manage reservations.

**Night Audit Tasks**:

- Perform nightly accounting tasks, including reconciling and balancing daily financial transactions.
- Verify the accuracy of guest accounts, including charges, payments, and adjustments.
- Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management.
- Process and post room charges, taxes, and other miscellaneous fees to guest accounts.
- Ensure all financial data is accurately entered into the hotel's accounting system.

**Security and Safety**:

- Monitor hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property and report any maintenance or security issues.
- Follow hotel safety protocols and emergency procedures when necessary.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Prepare and distribute guest folios and invoices.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

**Customer Service**:

- Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing their needs and ensuring a pleasant stay.
- Handle special requests and accommodate guest preferences whenever possible.
- Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the hotel lobby.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a front desk, accounting, or night audit role, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
