Coordinator: Skema Student Programmes

Duties/Pligte
- Facilitating and encouraging academic integration of SKEMA Business School and SU academic processes for SKEMA students at SU;
- Identifying, selecting and scheduling corresponding SU courses for each SKEMA academic programme in consultation with the Programme Manager: Semester Mobility;
- Developing specific programme class schedules (ESDHEM, BBA, M1, MSc IB);
- Updating the relevant study guides for each SKEMA academic programme;
- Communicating the class schedules to all parties: SKEMA Programme Director, SKEMA Academic Coordinators, SU Lecturers and the CGE;
- Registering students for SU courses and handling all related registration matters;
- Ensuring the identification of class delegates for each SKEMA academic programme, and participating in delegate meetings for the four programmes along with the programme directors;
- Collating and communicating the examination calendar to SKEMA and the students, and liaising with SKEMA coordinators to ensure that exams are synchronised with French campuses whenever possible and where applicable;
- Ensuring that final grades are communicated to the SKEMA academic coordinators in time for Academic Committees and Juries;
- ESDHEM programme responsibilities: Participating in the organisation of the official Tage2 test session on site, under the direction of the FNEGE;
- Organising a specific SKEMA orientation programme at the beginning of each semester, in collaboration with the Coordinator: International Student Life and Success;
- Liaising between the SUI -Services Centre, CGE with the students and the SKEMA International Office;
- Encouraging student participation on campus to ensure full student integration on the SU campus;
- Contributing to and taking part in general SU International activities to support internationalisation at an institutional level.

- Identifiseer, kies en skeduleer oorstemmende US kursusse vir elke SKEMA akademiese program in konsultasie met die Programbestuurder: Semester Mobiliteit;
- Ontwikkel spesifieke programskedules (ESDHEM, BBA, M1, MSc IB);
- Opdatering van die betrokke studiegidse vir elke SKEMA akademiese program;
- Kommunikeer die skedules aan alle rolspelers: SKEMA programdirekteur, SKEMA akademiese koördineerders, US dosente en die CGE;
- Registreer studente vir US kursusse en hanteer alle registrasie aangeleenthede;
- Verseker die identifisering van klasverteenwoordigers vir elke SKEMA akademiese program, en neem deel aan die vergaderings vir die vier programme met die programdirekteure en die verteenwoordigers;
- Samestelling en kommunikasie van die eksamen kalender aan SKEMA en die studente, en skakel met die SKEMA koördineerders om te verseker dat eksamens gesinkroniseer is met Franse kampusse waar moontlik en waar van toepassing;
- Verseker dat die finale punte gekommunikeer word aan die SKEMA akademiese koördineerders betyds vir die punte-evaluering deur die komitees en die juries;
- ESDHEM verantwoordelikehede: Deelname aan die organisasie van die amptelike Tage2 toets op kampus onderleiding van FNEGE;
- Reël 'n spesifieke SKEMA oriënteringsprogram aan die begin van elke semester, in samewerking met die Koördineerder: Internasionale Studente Lewe en Sukses;
- Skakel tussen die SUI-Dienstesentrum, CGE en die SKEMA studente en SKEMA Internasionale Kantoor;
- Moedig kampus deelname onder studente aan om volle integrasie op die US kampus te verseker;
- Dra by en neem deel in algemene SU Internasionale aktiwiteite om internasionalisering op institusionele vlak te ondersteun.
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- General Bachelor's degree;
- Three years' experience in international education or higher education;
- Strong, systematic organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team and under pressure;
- Proven ability to work with groups and speak in front of people;
- Relevant experience in project and event management;
- The ability to take initiative, exercise judgement, solve problems and work accurately and in a timely manner with mínimal supervision;
- Attention to detail, the ability to manage large quantities of information, and excellent time management skills;
- Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills;
- Interest in personal upskilling and open to learning new things;
- Proven computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet);
- An interest in global affairs and higher education beyond South Africa.
