**Job Advert Summary**:

- To ensure that operational throughput in Warehouse, Image Processing Centre, Vault and Business Support is performed in accordance with quality and client SLA requirements at all times. Responsible for the success of the operations and the overall Business Support division which includes Technical Support resources and Project Management resources by providing a framework or structure that enables the implementation of the business solution / product and management of the project(s) across product disciplines within and outside of Metrofile.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Project/Business Management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within an Operational / Production environment
- Project management in a production environment
- Resource management, control and utilisation

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:
**To succeed in this role you must have/be**:

- Knowledge of scanning equipment will be an advantage
- Own transport and unendorsed Code 08 drivers’ licence
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be customer focused
- Must pay attention to detail
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to work independently and adhere to deadlines and strict turnaround time
- Must have business acumen and be able to communicate at all levels
- Must be professional at all times
- Must be highly computer literate
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and problem solving skills

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Process Management**
- Ensures effective planning of work and resources to achieve optimal throughput.
- Coordinates work teams to meet daily production targets according to work planning schedule:

- Ensures that receiving and despatch meets operational requirements.
- Reports to the General Manager on production performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Ensures that all processing equipment is maintained in optimal condition.

**Project Management**
- Will be responsible for managing of internal & external projects which includes:

- Meeting with the Customer
- Setting up the project plans
- Monitoring the project
- Managing the resources on the project.
- Risk analysis of the project costing

**People Management**
- Ensures that staff is trained, skilled and that their expertise is optimally applied.
- Ensures that the working environment contributes to improve staff morale and increase productivity.

**Cost Management**
- Provides input into the compilation of the regional solutions budget.
- Runs the environment as cost effectively as possible.
- Implements continuous improvement to ensure that production efficiencies in the environment are optimised on an on-going basis.
- Provides input to customer pricing quotes and tenders, as and when required.
