Description

To recruit, maintain, develop sales representative, and set targets within Cornerstone Regions.

1. Plan and Implement Sales plan at Area level- Develop sales plan to attain set goals/targets
- Communicate the sales plan to sales teams
- Identify & agree on individual roles and responsibilities
- Recruit resources according to HR Plan
- Implement & monitor company policies & procedures related to sales
- Manage sales staff performance monthly
- Evaluate progress against goals monthly

2. Expense Budget- Participate in Regional budgeting process
- Monitor expenses against budget related sales
- Track deviation, investigate reasons & recommend corrective action
- Prepare management report on deviations

1. Develop & Sustain Customer & Stakeholder relations- Intervene on customer queries & concerns
- Gain understanding of stakeholder impact on area business
- Understand impact of stakeholder policies on area business
- Deploy the correct interactions and processes

2. Communication management
- Implement agreed regional communication plan which includes:
- Stakeholder analysis (who’s who?)
- Knowledge of different markets
- Company themes/messages

5. Manage Area Office, Administration & Client Services- Manage Area sales, staff - recruitment, selection, training & development, performance management, etc.
- Visits to districts/sites
- Liaise with Regional Administration on training needs & support
- Render service in terms of client service/administration when required
- Ensure fair treatment to customers (TCF)

6. Risk Management- Identify sales related risks
- Assess the risk
- Implement control measures
- Monitoring
- Reporting

**Requirements**:
FORMAL EDUCATION
- Matric
- Relevant Qualification (recognised by the FSCA)

TECHNICAL/LEGAL CERTIFICATION
- 30 or 60 credits on NQF level 2 (Depending on the date of appointment in the industry) or
- 60 or 120 credits on NQF level 5 (Depending on the date of appointment in the industry)

EXPERIENCE
- 1year relevant management experience
- 1 year Insurance industry
- At least a year advice and intermediary experience in category A (Assistance business)
