Campus Sales Manager

The Group Chief Commercial Officer is looking for a strong sales leader to join the group to drive sales strategy development and implementation for the **Richfield**Polokwane campus.
**Responsibilities**
- Development and implementation of the B2C sales strategy for both contact and distance learning for the campus spanning the key catchment areas that include but are not limited to Polokwane.
- Building and managing a high performing team and culture.
- Will be responsible for setting regional team targets as well as to manage performance and activities against these targets.
- Working with the group marketing manager to develop and manage direct marketing activities to support lead generation in the region.
- Working with the group schools marketing coordinator to drive schools marketing activities to support lead generation in the region.
- Monitor, analyze and plan improvements to team performance to ensure key business and sales KPI’s are reached.
- Improving performance by raising efficiency and sourcing new equipment/technology to enable efficiency.
- Coach and mentor, the sales team. A clear development plan must be rolled out for each team member.
- Effectively performance manage the team when required, which includes both informal and formal methods of performance management.
- Reporting on, but not limited to, the following:
- Sales Pipeline
- Sales Performance
- Sales Forecast vs prior year and budget
- Regional competitor trends, in relation to the group offering.
- Regional market trends, in relation to the group offering.
- Understanding data, systems and creating information to make informed decisions or measure previously made decisions is a key skill required for this role.
- Maintain a talent pipeline of sales personnel, including writing vacancy advertisements and liaising with HR staff.
- Organizing staffing, including shift patterns and the number of staff required to meet demand per region and sales cycle.
- The ability to build and maintain strategic B2G and B2B relationships that will bring critical additional sales volumes to the region will be preferable.
- Segment different markets and build a tailored sales and marketing execution plan for these specific markets.
- Ensuring the delivery of high standards of service to customer.
- ensuring the sales team consistently monitors customer engagements to improve quality, minimize errors and track performance.
- reviewing the performance of staff to identify training needs and then planning training sessions to address gaps.
- ensuring that you are able to handle the most complex customer complaints or enquiries in a calm, solution driven manner.
- ensuring that the sales team have the knowledge and skills to answer customers enquiries, as well as when to request for support or escalate problems quickly and effectively
**Experience**
- Extensive senior B2C sales management experience in the Polokwane.
- Experience within the education sector is preferable.
- Experience in the management of sales sites (stores) is preferable.
- Proven track record of success in growing top line revenue.
