Marketing Co-ordinator

**Description**:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the marketing team in implementing marketing strategies and campaigns to drive brand awareness and promote company products or services. This role requires a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
**Responsibilities**:
- Implementing marketing campaigns and strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, advertisements, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and on-brand marketing collateral.
- Manage and update the company website, ensuring content accuracy, SEO optimization, and a user-friendly experience.
- Monitor and report on website analytics, social media engagement, and campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and social media management platforms. Collate info with advertising agency, and present.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
- Assist in organizing and attending promotional events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and printers to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and services.
- Maintain an organized database of marketing materials, including images, videos, and customer testimonials.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging marketing techniques to suggest innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.
- Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities.
- Strong project management skills with ability to meet deadlines, in integrated environment with input and collaboration cross departmental.
- Implement marketing plans that include print, broadcast and online content.
- Create branded advertising campaigns, and support the marketing and design teams by coordinating and collating content.
- Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities.
- Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage.
- Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels.
- Develop and manage all internal communication systems.
- Create, maintain and strengthen the organization’s overall brand through all media avenues.
- Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts.
- Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.
- Finance admin - capturing of costs and budget management

- Participate in safety forums and attend relevant training/programmes
- Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
- Comply with safety policies and procedures
- Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times
**Requirements**:
**Minimum Requirements**
**Qualification and Experience**
- Tertiary Qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field essential
- At least 2 years’ relevant working experience - marketing co-ordinator or similar role
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques
- Familiarity with web analytics and SEO concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) would be advantageous
