Front Office Receptionist

**Only applicants with prior experience as a receptionist in a Hotel/Hostel will be considered.**
**Responsibilities**:
- **Oversee Daily Operations**:
- ○ Ensure that employees adheres to company policies and procedures.
- ○ Manage staff scheduling and delegate tasks effectively.
- ○ Monitor front desk productivity.
- ○ Address any operational issues that arise and implement solutions.
- ○ Conduct safety and security checks to maintain a secure environment.
- ○ Assist with reservations and inquiries accordingly
- **Customer Service**:
- ○ Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- ○ Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing their needs and requests.
- ○ Liaise with other departments to coordinate service delivery.
- ○ Monitor and check front desk cash ups
- ○ Assist with arrivals and departures
- **Staff Leadership**:
- ○ Motivate and support staff to ensure high performance.
- ○ Address employee concerns and provide coaching as needed.
- ○ Uphold a positive and productive work environment.
- **Additional Duties**:
- ○ May handle administrative tasks given by the front office manager.
- ○ Assist with restaurant operations when needed.
- ○ In some cases, manage special events or conferences.
- **Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a receptionist role.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in computer software relevant to the industry (e.g. cash register systems).
- Working knowledge of property management systems (PMS).
**Salary**: R5 000,00 - R7 000,00 per month
