Stark Everyday - Receptionist

The receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk, greeting visitors, handing inquiries, and performing various clerical duties to ensure smooth operations in the office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Greet and welcoming guests.
- Greet visitors in a professional, friendly manner.
- Direct guests to the appropriate person or office.
- Provide visitors with necessary information including safety protocols.

2. Managing incoming call
- Answer screen and forward incoming calls.
- Provide basic information to callers and respond to inquiries.
- Take messages or director calls to the appropriate department.

3. Clerical and Administrative Support
- Maintain and update records and files, including visitors’ logs.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, faxing and Telesales support

4. Office Management
- Ensure the front desk and reception are neat and tidy, and well organised.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and re-order as needed.

5.Handling inquiries
- Respond to questions from employees, clients, and customers in a courteous manner.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for issues like meeting bookings, internet, or phone connections.

Skills and Qualifications
- Matric and equivalent qualifications in office administration are a plus.
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, Front office representative similar role.
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational multitasking skills
- Ability to manage; e sensitive information confidentially.

Working conditions
- Fulltime office-based position.
- Requires sitting for lengthy periods and occasional lifting of light office supplies.
