Rent Book Administrator

If you are energetic, hard working and a team player, who loves to learn and be challenged, then we are looking for you to join our dynamic Properties team.

We require a Rent Book Administrator who has experience in capturing bulk lease changes and can draft detailed reconciliations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and load lease information (New Stores/Relocations/Extensions/Renewals/Closures) into the properties system;
- Building of the monthly Rent Book and ad hoc payments in Oracle;
- Loading of new banking details;
- Inform landlord timeously of CPI escalations;
- Prepare and verify Rates calculations;
- Prepare the billing information for all our sub-tenants and tenant advance invoices;
- Reconcile difficult landlord statements to the properties system;
- Prepare monthly journals;
- Reconcile monthly GL accounts;
- Prepare and complete various properties reports;
- Ad hoc projects (as and when opportunities are presented).

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum Matric;
- Minimum of 5 years Finance/Clerical experience;
- Oracle experience advantageous;
- Property lease administration experience.

**Competencies**:

- High attention to detail;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Strong numeric skills;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated;
- Able to work with tight deadlines;
- Good communication skills;
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Oracle experience beneficial.
