This position is suited to a person who is **‘sales hungry’** and who can exploit their exceptional sales skills with effective and successful results.

The Retentions Sales Manager will be responsible for customer/client retention. Ensuring revenue growth, in turn, is achieved by pursuing growing market segments, by finding new customers, and by improving the retention of existing customers.

**Required Experience**:

- Minimum Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) a requirement.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Minimum of 5 years selling experience.
- Cell phone.
- Must have high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Business acumen and solution selling.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have a proven record of accomplishment.
- Must be able to successfully manage a portfolio of corporate accounts.
- Must be able to sell all the Nashua lines of business.
- Must be able to establish excellent working relationships with the customers within the portfolio.
- Must have a consultative and total solutions approach.
- Must have a good mathematical understanding in order to structure financial deals.
- Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter.
- Must be prepared to work outside of normal hours when required.
- Must embrace the high accountability and responsibility levels required from this position as well as high company expectancy of achievement.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to make decisions within the ambit of authority.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Retention of Clients with the major focus on:

- Expired Base, Cash and Rental Contracts
- Customer Accounts whose profitability is low or in a constant nett negative
- Customers who have indicated they wish to cancel their account
- Customers whose equipment is damaged or no longer fit for purpose requiring upgrading or a unit exchange

To manage the division effectively the following would need to be achieved:

- Manage, organize and develop a team of sales specialists to achieve sales targets on a monthly basis.
- Plan, organize, delegate to and structure work for individuals to meet sales objectives.
- Drive and implement sales plans.
- Performance manage the Retention Team and conduct performance reviews.
- Build the team by coaching and mentoring sales team members for optimal performance. Offer advice, support, motivation, or information required.
- Manage the sales operations process and suggest and implement operational improvements.
- Recruit effective sales specialists as new team members (where required).
- Attend all relevant meetings.
- Plan and drive strategic customer value presentations.
- Monitor the results regularly in line with the budget.
- Achieve 100% of Sales Targets.
- Management of sales forecasts and pipeline.
- Manage and build profitable customer relationships.
- Drive Sales objectives in line with Business strategy.
- Sales Administration.
