**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Primary Tasks: Routine**
- Represent Freightmore, with a comprehensive understanding of our service offerings
- Research customer needs and identify how our solutions/services meet them
- Achieve growth and obtain sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement, in conjunction with the branch manager, a strategic business plan that expands the branch’s customer base and ensure we maintain a strong presence
- Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
- Set sales objectives and coach and mentor sales representatives to obtain optimal performance
- Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as and when needed
- Foster a competitive yet cooperative team environment
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitor’s status
- Track weekly revenue and keep sales representatives up to date with where they are
- Discuss customer issues and give guidance for decision making
- Liaise between sales and operations with regards to queries
- Resolve customer queries

**Secondary**:

- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and in conjunction with human resources develop a plan to fulfil them
- Oversee the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily discussions with them to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From R1.00 per hour
