**Role Context**

**Key responsibilitie**

**Stakeholders / Change Management**
- Support relevant stakeholders to use the First Choice approach and improve business processes for customers
- Support Senior Management / Process Owners to identify improvement areas
- Coach Initiative Champions
- Scope Initiatives with Process Owners
- Check correlation between customer feedback and scoped initiatives
- Support all functional leads to scope and set up improvement initiatives
- Certified DMAIC, Performance Dialogue, GEMBA Walk, ImpAct and 5S initiatives.
- First Choice awareness and development
- Champions, Advisor and Senior training
- Champions utilization of knowledge acquired during training.
- Monthly Country Leads Call
- Number of initiatives executed successfully
- Demonstrate impact of improvement initiatives by using supporting KPIs

**Process**
- Plan, organize, conduct and lead champion training in SSA
- Train staff on the use of First Choice Tools
- Ensure champions development by attending relevant training
- Support / coach champions, Advisors and Process Owners to successfully execute their initiatives.
- Check progress status of improvement initiatives and escalate if necessary
- Ensure the process improvements / KPIs developed are tracked properly
- Support and or coordinate regional initiatives and projects that will improve customers’ touch point, satisfaction and business processes.
- Support FC leads to create awareness, engagement and involvement of employees in country
- Number of champions training sessions conducted in the region
- Number of champions certified and coached in the region
- Number of initiatives certified in the region
- Number of Advisors certified in the region
- Number of Senior Advisors certified in the region
- Achievement of the global KPI conversion rate (certified levels achieved within a prescribed period)
- Define potential of initiatives and implemented results (KPI improvement)
- Maintain the First Choice visibility report
- Number of countries uploading sharing initiatives running in country
- Monthly update of the regional Register
- Accurate database of certified initiative and employees certification levels

**People**
- Develop and facilitate training modules to create the necessary awareness and empowerment for all staff.
- Organise and co-ordinate the development program for First Choice Country Leads, Advisors and Senior Advisors
- Design and maintain the SSA First Choice sites on SharePoint, Teams and relevant social media
- Conduct on-boarding for new Country FC Leads
- Run quarterly or monthly power sessions

**Minimum Requirements**
- Education_
- University Degree (Business or Industrial Engineering)
- Certified First Choice Senior Advisor Bronze
- Advanced knowledge and practice of First Choice tools, methodology and techniques
- Sound knowledge of DHL operations, and general cross-functional knowledge of all key functions within DHL Express.
- Experience_
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within DHL
