**PROFESSOR/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (ONE POST**

**Requirements**:

- Doctoral degree in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology or related disciplines
- Proven track record of at least TEN (10) publications for Professor, and five (5) publications for

Associate Professor in SAPSE accredited journals.
- Proven track record of Research supervision at Masters and Doctoral levels.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ teaching experience (for Professor) and five (5) years teaching

experience (for Associate Professor) in a tertiary institution.
- Computer literacy is compulsory, especially a sound knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and

Internet.
- Registration with the South African Board of People Practice (SABPP) or any relevant related

professional bodies will be an added advantage.

**Duties**:

- Lecture and supervise at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Human Resource

Management.
- Teach at least any three of the following modules: Human Resource Management, Human

Resource Development, Organisational Behaviour, Career Management, HR Measurement

and Labour Relations
- Undertake proven research in the field of Human Resource Management
- Participate in academic leadership and quality control.
- Develop and maintain professional, industry, and community partnerships.
