**UP Professional and Support**:
**POSITION: CLUBS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT**
**CONTRACT: FULL-TIME FIXED TERM CONTRACT**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The incumbent will be responsible for the following administration tasks of multiple sport clubs:
- Sport clubs administration including; scheduling of matches, coordination of internal leagues, stakeholder communication, events planning, and coordination,
- Providing support activities for clubs, such as answering telephones, welcoming guests, minute taking, and handling club membership queries,
- Assisting in the management of daily administrative operations of clubs,
- Scheduling of matches and sporting-related activities,
- Booking of facilities, maintenance of inventory and equipment,
- Financial, office, and club travel administration.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
- National Diploma in Sport Management, Office Administration, Project Management, or related qualification should have at least one year experience in the following areas:
- Sport administration
- Office administration
- Financial administration
OR
- Grade 12 with at least three years’ experience in the following areas:
- Sport administration
- Office administration
- Financial administration
AND
- Valid driver’s license
**REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES)**:
- Sporting knowledge
- Relevant principles and procedures
- Relevant laws and regulations
- Office management skills
- Project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
- Telephone & communication skills (English)
- Record keeping & data entry
- Interpersonal skills
- Conflict Management skills
**ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES**:
- Degree in Sport Management, Office Administration, Project Management, or related qualification
- Three years of experience:
- As an administrator at a sports club or related organisation
- In Sports Events Management
- Participation in sport
- Working knowledge of the specific sport
Please note this position includes an all-inclusive remuneration package commensurate with the incumbent’s level of appointment, qualification, and experience.
The incumbent will be appointed on a fixed-term contract with the necessary performance clauses clearly stipulated.
