**Position Overview**:
**A leading financial services concern** requires the services of an experienced **Learning** **and** **Development** **Consultant**.

The main purpose of this position is to **partner with client departments to identify skills needs** in order to **design and implement fit-for-purpose learning interventions for staff members and teams** in the firm.

This is in order to **enhance the impact on business performance** and to **generate useable knowledge and** **research for central bank learning and development**.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- _Contribute towards the firm’s learning and development strategy formulation and implementation._
- _Identify and interpret client skills needs._
- _Design and develop relevant and fit-for-purpose learning interventions._
- _Conduct research and design curricula._
- _Enhance the learning through the use of relevant digital learning tools, systems, and platforms._
- _Engage academics, experts, and other learning providers to build strategic partnerships._
- _Evaluate the quality and impact of programmes._
- _Compile integrated reports and provide recommendations._
- _Establish, maintain, and promote working relationships with internal and external stakeholders._
- _Contribute towards building a culture of continuous learning._
- _Serve as a learning facilitator/integrator during learning interventions, as and when required._

**Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- A completed** Honours’ degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, Education, **or an equivalent** (NQF 8) qualification.**:

- A **minimum of 5 to 8 years’ Learning and Development Consulting and/or Instructional design and/or Facilitation experience in Academia or Corporate Learning.**:

- A** minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience **in an** Economics Environment **or a** Financial Sector.
