About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Learning to join our team at Intercare Group. As a key member of our corporate services team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a group-wide learning and development strategy that supports our business outcomes.
  2. Design and deliver training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.
  3. Manage and maintain our online learning management system.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in learning and development.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify learning opportunities and skills gaps.
  6. Develop and implement a training calendar that aligns with operational and business requirements.
  7. Resource and implement best-fit learning solutions for key focus areas.
  8. Lead and develop learning and development facilitators.
  9. Continuously identify learning opportunities and skills gaps to enhance current curricula.
  10. Design and submit relevant management reports.
  11. Facilitate the training and development process to enhance capacity and capabilities.
  12. Actively build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. 4-6 years' relevant experience with learning and content development.
  3. Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices.
  4. Practical experience with MS Office Suite and Learning Management Systems.
  5. Knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies.
  6. Knowledge of the effectiveness of learning methods.
  7. Advanced computer skills.
  8. Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  9. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  10. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  11. Committed to high standards and continuous improvement.
  12. Ability to move between big picture and detail.
