**Municipal Administrator **required for a large property company based in **East London, Eastern Cape**

**Requirements**:

- Utility management:_
- Manage the relationship between Landlord/ Service Providers/Tenants to optimize
- Sourcing Accounts from the respective supply authority
- Assist in dealing with Queries (tenant and Council related), as well as opening of new accounts with Council.
- Regular Reporting and risk
- Utility accounting and administration
- Provide support to inland team and functions
- Verification and Optimization:_

Assist with utility accounting and administration function to ensure that the accounting on both the cost and recoveries of utilities are accurate per billing cycle, both in respect of:

- vetting and approving reports on all related municipal bills
- tariff checking and verification
- Energy Assessments:_
- Ensure buildings are on most beneficial
- Assessments/feasibility studies and reporting
- Risk Management:_
- Ensures compliance with relevant Acts and bylaws
- Assist manager with the processes and systems within the area of accountability to ensure compliance and minimize the business risk
- Required:_
- Property industry and municipal accounts experience essential
- Creditors/Account reconciliations and payments experience essential
- Intermediate Excel
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Utilities/municipal experience will be
- Experience in dealing with council queries will be
